ITALY AND GERMANY ARE SO HAWTTT…
This story takes place in a little town called, South Haven. South Haven was known for its lovely houses and kind, caring people. South Haven was a perfect place to live, was perfect.
Hi, my name is Jack I’m currently twenty three years old. I lived in South Haven with my girlfriend, Sidney. She and I had been living here for quite a while now. We loved it and we loved all our friendly neighbors.
Sidney was twenty three years old at the time. She worked at a nursery and I worked at a local restaurant as a pastry chef. Yeah, we both worked at completely different jobs, but it was okay. We loved what we did and that’s all that mattered.
It was July 5th 2009, Sidney was leaving for work when a moving truck pulled into the house across our street. We were both excited, there was going to be a new family right across from us! Nobody lived in that house for ages. It must have occupied when we were not living there.
Naturally, my girlfriend opened her car door and walked over to me.
“Let’s go meet our new neighbors, sweetheart.”
I nodded my head and smiled at her.
“Of course, let’s go.”
We saw the neighbors pull in with their old green Volkswagen. They parked and stepped out of their vehicle, they were a young couple like us. They were attractive and full of life.
We walked over and greeted with a cheerful hello. They turned around and smiled at us.
“Hello, there! The name is Ricky Sticks and this is my lady, Sally Hardstone.”
“It’s nice to meet you both! My name is Jack Moore and this is the love of my life, Sidney Harrison.”
We all had shook hands and talked about how great South Haven was. Ricky and Sally were both very intriguing and talkative people. Also strange at times, but it was okay. Strange was the new cool. I guess at that time.
Sidney checked her watch and knew it was time for her to leave. She said goodbye to us and kissed me on the cheek. Quickly, she hopped into her spiffy convertible and sped off down the street. I was left with our new neighbors.
“She’s a real catch, Jack. Got yourself a real lady there!” Ricky said, with a raise of the eyebrow.
“Yeah, thanks man.” I replied, staring down at the street. “Um, what do you guys two like do for a living? I mean if you don’t mind me asking.”
Their answer was surprising. They liked travelling around the world, finding new recipes for meals. I was quite impressed for I, of course, was in the food industry. You know maybe not the meal part, but food none the less.
After a while, I helped the new neighbors out by bringing some boxes inside the empty two-story Victorian styled home. They were very happy and appreciative that I had helped them unpacked. I laughed and just told them that I was happy to help.
Happy that I helped them out, Sally suggested that Sidney and I have dinner at their house, I (of course) felt rude to barge in for dinner, just like that. Ricky and Sally said it was totally fine and eventually, I accepted.
After a few hours of talking and learning some new recipes, I heard Sidney pull into the driveway. She always came home drained, but not mad or upset. Just tired from all the young children, she always had to watch. I wondered, how could she do that?
I heard her open her door and shut it. I smiled at Ricky and Sally; telling them I had to go check on my girlfriend. They showed me to the door and opened it for me. Wow, these people are really polite!
I told them thanks and walked outside. Sidney was wearing a blue blouse with black jeans and her black flats. She was super tired from work and I could tell by the way her body moved. I walked over to her and smiled at her.
“Hey princess, how was work?”
She looked at me and smiled weakly.
“I’m okay…I’m just really tired…oh, I’m sorry you asked how was work…” she closed her eyes and her legs slipped from under her, causing her to nearly fall, but I caught her.
“Okay, that’s good, sweet-heart…let daddy bring you inside.” I laughed, picking her up into my arms
“No! You’re going to hurt your back!” she exclaimed, looking at me with tired eyes.
“Oh my goodness, babe, I’ve been over this with you…you won’t hurt my back.” I said, giving her a kiss on the lips.
She gave me a kiss back before going to sleep in my arms. Damn, she’s so adorable when she sleeps. I lowered my head and kissed her on the forehead.
“Sleep tight my princess.”
I brought her inside our house and put in the bed. I threw the blankets on her, making sure her face was only seen.
“I don’t know what I’d do if I ever lost you, baby.”
I rubbed her face and then left the bedroom. I took the house keys from the candy bowl in the kitchen. I had this thing where I’d lock the door every time I left my girlfriend alone in the house. Hey, I’m a protective guy alright? Who knows what kind of creep could break into the house?
Not likely in South Haven, but still a smart thing to do. At least, I thought so.
Of Course, when I left the house, I locked the door. I couldn’t have anybody running in and stealing anything important or worse, hurting my Sidney. If anybody even dared to lay a finger on her! Nobody would have. Nobody.
My neighbors were waiting for I and Sidney to arrive. I knocked gently on the door and waited for someone to answer.
After a few minutes of waiting, the door opens finally. Sally peeked her brunette head out of the door. She smiles at me and says:
“Come in, dear. Dinner is ready. I do hope you like it.”
That was weird for a second there, she sounded creepy.
I shrugged it off. It could have been a little break in her voice, something she didn’t notice? I smiled at her and walked in.
“It was very kind of you guys to invite us over. I’m sorry, but Sidney was too tired to come over.” I told them both.
Ricky and Sally shrugged and smiled at me.
“No problem, buddy! Your woman just needs her beauty sleep! Where she work at again?” Ricky asked, sipping on a Coors Light.
“She works at a nursery. They bust her ass there; she’s always on her feet.” I sigh, taking a seat at the table. “I don’t know how she does it.”
Ricky sits beside me and smiles. He hands me a Coors Light. I take it and pop it open with the bottle opener that’s sitting on the table.
I take a sip and relax in the chair.
Oh yeah. That’s the stuff.
“You know your lady needs to relax. Poor girl, those kids must drive her nuts at times.” Sally frowns, drinking her root beer. “She should come over sometime. I could give her a pedicure and a manicure. You know girlie stuff.
I took a sip of my drink. Sidney was everything I could have ever asked in my life. I knew everything about her. One thing she didn’t care about was girlie stuff. That’s what was so perfect about her (besides her looks and personality).
“Sorry Sally, she’s not into that kind of stuff. She’s more into writing and art.” I replied, sipping more down.
“Oh, that’s not very fun. You should try to convince her. It will be like a girl’s night out or something like that.”
I laughed. I told her I would try to convince her. She seemed to be very happy about that, but why? I didn’t think anything at the time. I really wish I did though.
Ricky, Sally, and I all sat at the large dinner table. It didn’t feel right; Sidney wasn’t there to eat with me. Sally had set a large stew pot down in the middle of the table.
Ricky took in a deep breath of the stew. He licked his lips and waited for his lover to dish out the stew.
“Smells lovely, darling!”
I sat patiently, smiling at my new friends. I had an odd pit in the middle of my stomach. I felt as if something terribly wrong was going to happen. At the time, I didn’t know why I feeling the way I was.
Sally took her mitten covered hands and opened the pot. I took in a deep breath, hoping nothing bad would be in it. I was totally wrong. The smell of the stew was marvelous.
“Wow that does smell good! What’s in it, Sally?” I asked, continuing to smell the sweet aroma swirling in the air.
“Sally’s vegetable and chicken stew dig in boy!” Ricky answered, handing me over a large bowl of warm, steaming stew.
I took the bowl and ate it slowly. I was in absolute Heaven! This stew was the best stew I have ever had! I ate spoonful s of the stew til I finished the entire bowl. It was just so perfect! I needed my hands on that RECIPE!
“Oh my goodness, that was delicious! Thank-you, Ms. Hardstone!” I exclaimed, gleefully.
Ricky and Sally smiled and filled my bowl up again. Again. Aagain. And again. I must have had at least five bowls of stew. Sadly, I still had more room in my stomach for more food. How was that even possible? I wasn’t that big into stew or soup, but now I was!
“How was that, Jack?” Sally asked, giving me an odd, strange smile.
“That was like Heaven came to earth somehow.” I laughed, rubbing my stomach.
Sally laughed and pinched my cheek.
“That’s good a big boy like you needs more meat on his bones!” she said, releasing my cheek.
Strange… that quote, “You need more meat on your bones.” Always gave me a creepy feeling whenever anybody said that. Almost like Hansel and Gretel when the witch was fattening them up. Wow what was I saying? I’m totally losing it.
“Ricky, thanks for letting me over for dinner. It was absolutely delicious, but I really should go check on my princess at home.”
Ricky quickly got to his feet and took hold of my shoulder. He smiled and sat me back down.
“Now, now, Jack, sit. It would have been rude if I didn’t serve you dessert. Sally made a delicious Chocolate Mousse Pie.”
“Uh…Chocolate Mousse Pie? Mmh…that sounds delicious, Ricky…you guys don’t mind if I stay for that?” I said, licking my lips.
Ricky patted me on the shoulder and shook his head. Sally placed a slab of pie on his plate. His eyes were pools of light blue, staring into my soul.
“Jack, would you like a piece?”
I heard a faint rumbling in my stomach. Why the hell not? Chocolate Mousse Pie was my ultimate favorite dessert! Damn, these people are going to make me effin pop!
“Sure!” she placed a large slab on mine.
I looked at the perfect swirl of whipped cream and the perfect chocolate pudding underneath it. My mouth watered as I lifted my fork. I cut a piece and ate it. The flavor, oh my goodness gracious was it ever so good! I was an effin pastry chef and I couldn’t even make a pie so perfect!
“Oh my goodness, you guys really know how to cook!” I exclaimed, digging my fork into the wonderful creation.
“Thank-you, we’re really glad you like it! You should bring a piece to Sidney! She might like it!” Ricky smiled, handing a piece that was wrapped up in clear plastic. “Don’t go home with nothing!”
I smiled and took the piece of the pie. It was so delicious at the time. Why did I have to bring it home? Why!
“Thanks guys! I really appreciate your kindness! I’ll see you both tomorrow right?”
Ricky and Sally nodded their heads. We said our goodbyes and I left home to see my Sidney. My beautiful, sweet princess would be sleeping.
It was the next day around maybe nine in the morning? I was abruptly awoken by a painful stomach ache. I rushed into the bathroom and began to throw up my brains. It wouldn’t stop; it felt like I puking a river. All I wanted was to feel better.
As I was puking, Sidney woke up. She must have heard my gagging. She ran to me to see if I was okay.
“Honey? Are you okay?” she asked, worriedly grabbing my shoulder.
I lifted my head up and turned to her. My mouth was covered in thick, brown chunks of vomit. I smiled at her weakly.
“I must have ate too much last night, sweet heart.”
“What did you eat?”
“I ate stew and Chocolate Mousse Pie.”
“Where did you get that?”
“I ate it at Sally’s and Ricky’s house.”
She grabbed me and pulled me away from the toilet seat. She placed her hands on my face and looked deeply into my eyes.
“Baby, do you feel dizzy?”
“Damnit, babe! You could have gotten food poisoning last night!”
I was stunned. She was right, I might have been poisoned! Why would they want to do that though? We were friends!
“Saraya, maybe it was just because I ate too much?”
She sighed and shook her head. She grabbed a wet wash cloth and wiped my face slowly. I loved when she did that.
“Look, maybe these people aren’t who we really think they are.”
“Babe…look, I know you are a little worried about our new neighbors, but I assure you, there is nothing wrong with them.”
Man, was I totally completely wrong.
“Oh, Jackie…just promise me one thing.”
“If they act strange or creepy, tell me okay?”
“Of course, baby.”
We both kissed each other and I ran my fingers through her hair. She giggled and kissed my forehead. I kissed her nose and then we both hugged each other tight. I never will forget that.
“I love you, baby.” she told me leaving a warm kiss on my cheek.
I smiled and wrapped her tightly in my arms. She kissed me and sat on my lap. I laughed and tickled her a bit. She laughed, but she knew she loved it. I knew I did. Every time I heard her laugh it made me smile and everything was okay. I slipped my arms around her and pulled her close.
“You and I should have a child together, beautiful.” I said, caressing her face. “You’d be a great mother.”
She gave me a smile and kissed me again. Her kisses seemed to make the world stop. My heart raced as I returned the kiss.
“Maybe, but I’m still nervous about having a child…”
I rubbed her shoulders and kissed her tenderly. I slipped the front of her shirt up and kissed her belly. She laughed a little and pulled me down on top of her. (Yes, we are on the bed).
Thank God, I listened to her that morning.
So anyways, a week must have passed. It was a Saturday afternoon, my Sidney had off, but I was working. I was busy as a church mouse. Yelling at other employees and fixing up different kinds of pastries. It was very tiring.
I was soon given a lunch break. I went out of the restaurant and ate a sandwich in my car. Sidney had made it. It was delicious. Nobody could make sandwiches like her.
I received a text message: “I’m going over to the neighbor’s to see if they have any sugar they can spare. If I’m not home when you come home, you know where to find me.” –Sidney.
I smiled, right then I knew she would get to know them better. She was very shy, so it was hard for her to make friends. It was okay I understood, but when she did become open to people; she was an awesome friend.
Why didn’t I stop her?
“Okay sweet-heart, have fun.” I texted back.
In a few seconds, she texted back.
“I’ll try. I love you Jack.”
“Okay, good girl. I love you too, Sidney.”
That was the last time I talked to her. Damn, fuck everything! FUCK THIS EFFIN WORLD! Why didn’t I see? Why?
After lunch, I went back to work for the remaining hours of the day. I had to bake a cake for a little girl’s birthday. When she came in and saw me with her cake she was so happy. I could feel her warm smile wash over me.
That’s when I knew I wanted a child with my girlfriend.
The absolute happiness in her smile just made me want to be a father. Tonight I was going to ask Sidney…
To be my beautiful, blush bride. I was completely ready to be with her for the rest of my life. Better or worse, I was going to propose to her and we were going to have our happy little ending. At least that’s what I thought was going to happen. Why didn’t it happen?
Work finally ended at 6 o’clock, I texted Sidney telling her I’d be home a little late. She texted back saying it was okay and to take my time. I was confused was this my Sidney? She always wanted me home after work. She must have been hanging out with Sally and Ricky still, that’s why.
I shrugged the uneasiness away and drove to the jewelry store.
Me: I love you, honey.
Sidney: I love you too, darling.
Darling? She RARELY called me that. What was going on here? Hm…maybe she was just tired. Again, I shrugged it off. My head my damn fucking head! I could have SAVED HER!
I popped open the door and entered the jewelry store. At the front counter, there was an older man counting money in his drawer. He made sure he had the right amount of cash.
“Good evening, sir. How are you doing tonight?” he asked, lowering his hands and giving me a smile.
“I’m doing great! Can you show me where the engagement rings are sir?”
The older gentleman continued to smile at me and grabbed a box. He opened it and showed me the beautiful, glowing silver engagement rings. Also there were some gold, but I knew Sidney loved silver a lot better. My heart was filled with joy; my eyes quickly scanned the box. It was hard to choose between a lot of them, but I ended up choosing one. It had a silver heart with gold wrapping around it.
“That one, sir.” I pointed out, smiling at the beautiful ring.
He looked down at the ring and removed it from the box. He wiped it with a cloth and handed it over to me.
“If you really want it, just tell me.”
I gazed at the ring for quite some time. It sparkled in the light in the store. I smiled and handed it back to the store keeper.
“I’ll take it!”
“Wonderful choice, sir!”
He took it in the cloth and glanced at the price tag. It rang up to be $900 dollars, which really shocked me. Such a lovely ring for so little?
Of course, I handed him over my debt card. He took my card and as he did, I pulled out my cellphone.
I was worried. I saw a unknown text on my phone. I never gave out my number to people I didn’t know.
??: We’re waiting for you, Jack.
Scared a little, I dropped my phone on the ground. The owner of the store asked if everything was okay. I told him yes of course.
Quickly, I stabbed at my keyboard.
Me: Who is this?
??: It’s me, Sally! Remember you gave us your number when you were over last night?
Me: Oh okay!
Wait a second…I never gave them my number last night.
Me: I did not give you my cellphone number last night. Did Sidney go over to your house earlier for sugar? Maybe she gave you my number?
??: She did give me your number and…
Me: You were going to say something.
??: Jack, I don’t know how to tell you this, but…
Me: Damnit! Tell me what?
??: Ricky said, he saw her leave with another man.
My heart felt like it exploded into millions of tiny pieces. I couldn’t believe what I was reading.
No… she would never do such a thing!
I put my hand over my face. Tears began to make a puddle in my palms.
“Are you okay?”
“No…I just received a text. My girlfriend left with another man.”
“No! That can’t be! Was it her who sent the message?”
“No, it was a friend of ours.”
“She could be just lying.”
The old man gave me a sorrowful expression. He placed the ring down and walked to the other side of the counter. He gave me a hug and tried to tell me everything would be okay. The thing was it would never be okay. Never, never, be okay ever again.
I ended up leaving the jewelry shop with nothing. Nothing, but a broken heart and empty tears.
I sat in my car which seemed almost an hour. Today was the utter worse day of my life. Oh and it gets even worse!
After an hour of sitting in the car, I drove home. My heart broken and my plans were completely ruined. For some strange reason though, I felt like Sally was lying though. I couldn’t believe my girl would leave me for some other guy! Even if she was cheating on me, I would have found out. Now that I think of it…I wish she did leave me for some other guy.
That would have been a whole lot better than what really happened.
Filled with depression, I decided to visit my friends again. I knew they were still up because, I saw lights in their living room window.
I knocked at their door.
Sally opened it again like last time.
“Hello, there darling come on in!”
I came in, my head pounding from the stress and the heavy crying. She brought me over to the table. I sat down and saw Ricky staring at me with sad light blue eyes.
“I’m sorry, man. I really am.”
I didn’t want to hear any shit at the moment.
Sally sat beside me and rubbed my shoulder. She was beginning to creep the fuck out of me. So, I politely told her to stop. She did and I ended up staring down at the floor.
The floor was all wooden and old looking. Damn they need a fix up here. I then noticed some odd looking splotches of red on the ground. Upset, I really didn’t care. I thought it was only red wall paint.
“Oh, wow. You guys have to watch where you’re dropping your paint.” I said, pointing down at the stains.
Sally suddenly gave Ricky a weird look. He gave her one back. This gave me unsettling feeling about my new friends. What were they hiding?
My eyes followed the paint splatters to which it went to the basement. They must be repainting or something.
I didn’t care at all. All I wanted was my Sidney at home in bed, lying down. Not with some freak guy with me.
Ricky laughed and drank some of his beer.
“We’re just doing some re-modeling. This place is kind old.” I nodded my head and noticed that they were having dinner once again.
“Oh how rude of me. You guys are eating dinner; I’ll come back when you guys aren’t busy.” I stood up about to walk to the door.
“Oh no! Don’t worry, you can stay for dinner, Jack! We want you to stick around for our new batch of stew! Ricky says it’s even better than the last one!” Sally exclaimed, regaining her bubbly personality.
“I’m okay…I’m not really hungry guys.”
Ricky placed his strong palm on my shoulder and sat me down.
“Come on, stew is good for you!”
“Ugh, okay…I’ll have some. Just a little though.”
Sally smiled and filled a bowl for me. Steam rose from my bowl as she pushed the bowl over to me. It smelled delicious, just like the other night.
“Be careful the meat may have bones still in it.” Ricky warned. “It’s a pain to break the bones.”
I began to eat the stew. The meat was so chewy and salty. Just the way I liked it. I couldn’t wait to taste another bite. So, I chewed on down, but as I did, I nearly broke my teeth!
“Ow! What the hell kind of bone is that?” I shouted, spitting the “bone” out of my mouth.
Wait that wasn’t a bone. That was way to hard to be a bone. I used my spoon to find the “bone”. I wished I didn’t see what it was.
Ricky and Sally gave me the creepiest stares ever.
I began to throw up, bile rose from my throat and onto the floor.
First, that red paint on the floor wasn’t paint at all. It was blood. It was blood that trailed down into the basement.
Secondly, that thing in my spoon was…
A green, silver ring.
The ring that Sidney always wore.
They were laughing maniacally.
“WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO HER!?”
I grabbed the ring in the spoon and held it tightly in my shaking hand.
“Well, I guess you found us out, Jack. Sally, how about you tell him what happened to his lovely princess?” Ricky took a bite out of the huge chunk of meat he held with his fork.
Pissed I ripped it off his fork and clutched it tightly in my hand. I drew it to my chest and in my head I said.
“Sidney…I’m so sorry…I should have listened to you!”
Tears were flowing from my eyes hard. THESE EVIL BASTARDS!
Sally wiped her lips after finishing her stew.
“Well, let’s just say. That meat you were eating was fresher than fresh!” she laughed.
“You little bitch! You both will fucking pay for what you have done!”
Ricky grabbed me by the arm and held me down. He glared right down into my eyes. I glared right back at him. I wasn’t scared of these fuckers.
“You calm down, don’t call my lady a bitch either!”
“Fuck you, Rick!”
Rick punched me in the face and watch me curl up into a ball on the floor.
“Shut the fuck up pretty boy! NOW LISTEN!”
“I’m not scared of you!”
“SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!” Sally interrupted.
Anyways, Sally told me how both of them were cannibals. I was highly disturbed and began throwing up even more as they gotten into how they loved the taste of human flesh and shit like that. The pain was utterly unbearable. How could they do this to me and how could they even think of making me eat you?
As I laid on the floor, Sally told me that you came to their house. She told me how you were wearing a beautiful little blue dress that went only an inch past your knees. How nice you were and that you wanted to become friends with them because it would have made me happy.
They gave you a piece of the pie I ate. You tasted something strange in it and found a dead half eaten rat in your pie. You screamed and you ran to them. They were down in their basement. They were getting ready for the next delicious stew.
You entered their basement and saw human bodies hanging from the wall. Cut open, missing organs, and missing pieces of flesh. You were so utterly shocked that you passed out from the sight.
When you woke up, you were being sliced open with a butcher knife. They made you a deal. If you would not scream loud enough to cause commotion outside or around the neighborhood, they wouldn’t hurt me. They would let me live. FUCK THAT! I’D RATHER DIE THEN TO KNOW I ATE A PIECE OF YOU! THIS IS SO FUCKED UP! WHY?
Sally then told me, “When she was dying, she told me to tell you…that she loves you and to move on with your life.”
That’s when I snapped. I saw a butcher knife on the table, without thinking I grabbed it and charged right at them both.
There was loud screams and blood splattered everywhere on the old walls. Hey, they said they needed a paint job, right? I laughed like a crazy person as I butchered them all up. I couldn’t stop the feeling of happiness from the bloodshed. There was blood all over my hands and face. I grabbed Sally’s face with my teeth and tore her face back. Tore Rick’s face off too and stuffed the meat into my pockets. I could hear it.
The sirens of the cop cars.
I laughed. Nothing was going to stop me. Not even them.
I ate as much of them as I could. Blood streaming down my chin and face, I couldn’t stop. Sidney, I’m taking my revenge.
I love you Sidney. I always will forever and ever.
Now here I sit inside this cold room, wearing nothing but a white straitjacket. Dirty and bloody from biting my own flesh within my mouth. The nurses and doctors try to stop me, but they really can’t. No they can’t. They drugs never work and I’m sure hell of a fighter. I even managed to escape out of my straitjacket once. Don’t ask me how. Oh shit here those bastards come.
They’re trying to feed me again. They stab me with forks full of vegetables and meat. My mouth is caked with blood. Don’t they see I’ve already eaten? I stare off into the distance, imagining you there beside me. Us together still with a beautiful baby girl. No, that’s only an imagination. That’s never going to happen. Never.
My plans and dreams are gone.
Never to grow again, never to love again, never to live again.
Just to die, to die over and over again.
Every hour of the day, twenty-four-seven.
For the rest of my life.
Can’t get over how epic video is!!!
